Partner Questions Answered

How does affiliate tracking work?

You get a unique tracking link tied to your partner account. Every click, free trial signup, and paid conversion is logged in your real-time dashboard. Commission is attributed on last-click basis with a 60-day cookie window — so if someone clicks your link today and subscribes within 60 days, you get the commission.

When and how do I get paid?

Commissions are paid monthly on the 15th for all verified conversions from the prior calendar month. Minimum payout threshold is $50. We pay via PayPal, Wise, or ACH bank transfer (US only). International partners (TT and others) are paid via Wise. If your commission is below $50 in a month, it carries forward to the next month.

What counts as a "verified conversion"?

A conversion is a new paying subscriber or Prebuild purchase that came through your unique link and completes their first payment. Free trials don't count until they convert to paid. Refunded purchases are clawed back from your commission. We show all conversion status in your dashboard — no surprises on payout day.

Can I run paid ads to my affiliate link?

Not without written approval. We've had issues with partners running misleading paid ads that hurt brand trust. If you want to run paid promotion, email us first — we'll review the creative and targeting before you spend. Tier 3 partners have more flexibility here by default.

Do I need to have a business to be a partner?

No — individual creators are welcome. You'll need to provide your personal tax details for commission payments (W-9 for US partners, equivalent for TT). If you earn over $600 USD in a calendar year, we'll issue a 1099 or equivalent. Consult a tax advisor for how to treat affiliate income in your jurisdiction.

What if my referrals cancel their subscription?

You earn commission on active months only. If someone subscribes through your link and cancels after 2 months, you earned 2 months of 20% commission. We don't claw back past payments for cancellations — only for refunds within the first 30 days. Your dashboard shows active vs. churned referrals so you can see your real recurring base.

Can I be a partner if I'm outside the USA and TT?

Possibly, depending on your audience. If your content reaches US or TT businesses even if you're based elsewhere, you can still participate. We're not accepting partners whose primary audience is entirely outside both markets yet — global expansion is on the roadmap for late 2026. Mention your situation in the application and we'll tell you straight.
